This individual will oversee all accounting operations of the company. They will prepare and maintain financial reports and accounting records.

DUTIES

• Assist AP to guarantee that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
• Research past-due invoices
• Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
• Maintain vendor and payable files
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Assist with other accounting projects in the office
• Monitor credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges
• Reconcile accounts monthly and prepare reports to present to management
• Track tax payments and compile information for tax filing
• ?Retain a chart of accounts and a systematic accounting filing system

QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschool diploma/GED
• Good understanding of percentage completion
• Microsoft Office experience
• Basic phone skills
• Accounting experience preferred
